What are the benefits of an iWave® Air Purifier?
- Eliminates harsh odors.
- Safely purifies air throughout your building.
- Reduces costly grease buildup in ductwork.
- Reduces dust particles, allergens, and odors.
- Kills viruses and bacteria.
- Prevents mold and bacteria in the HVAC system.
- Reduces a variety of pathogens (such as Coronavirus) in the air and on surfaces.
How does an iWave® Air Purifier work?
iWave® kills mold, mildew, viruses, and reduces smoke, odors, allergens, dust particles, and static electricity. The iWave® technology works by generating the same ions nature creates with waterfalls, ocean waves, and lightning without developing any ozone. Once these ions are injected into the airstream, they break down any passing gasses and pollutants into harmless compounds like oxygen, water, and carbon dioxide. The harmless ions created attach themselves to airborne particles, pollen, smoke, allergens, etc. The particles then cling to each other until they’re heavy enough to be moved by the air current and caught by your air filter.
Who Is Most Affected by Poor Indoor Air Quality?
- The 15 million+ Americans with asthma, including 1-in-13 school-age children.
- Children in general: children inhale more than 50% more air per body weight than adults, making them especially sensitive to air quality issues.
- Anyone with respiratory or heart conditions
What are the effects of poor indoor air quality?
Short Term Effects of Poor Indoor Air Quality
- Headaches, nausea, dizziness, and confusion
- Difficulty breathing and exacerbated asthma symptoms
- Allergic reactions to various pollutants include dust and pollen
Long Term Effects of Poor Indoor Air Quality
- Changes in mood
- Cardiovascular diseases
- Respiratory diseases
- Cancer
- Neurological conditions
- Pregnancy complications, including birth defects
What are the benefits of a whole-home dehumidifier?
- Comfort. Humidity control throughout your entire house, which is ideal for large and multi-story homes
- Integration into your existing HVAC system, so it is easy to operate and maintain
- Reliable and does not require daily maintenance
- Quiet. With a fully insulated cabinet, these units have quiet operation
- Healthy. Air filter helps remove contaminants and irritants from your indoor air
- Can be used independently or connected to your HVAC ductwork, to remove warm, humid air and return cool, drier air to your home
How do humidifiers work?
A whole-home humidifier can be installed as part of your HVAC system. It works with your furnace in colder months to add moisture into dry air so your home environment feels more comfortable. Most people prefer an indoor humidity level of 35–55 percent and keeping your home in this range helps maintain wood furniture and floors.
What are the types of whole-home humidifiers?
There are three types of whole-home humidifiers:
- Bypass humidifier—connects to the return section of your air handler or furnace. This relies on the furnace air blower to distribute moisture through the ducts into your home, and only operates when the furnace is running. This type of humidifier has very quiet operation and is ideal for smaller to medium sized homes.
- Fan-powered humidifier—has its own fan to distribute moisture through the ducts into your home. This type of humidifier puts more moisture into the air than a bypass humidifier and works even when the furnace is not running. This is ideal for medium to large homes.
- Steam humidifier—uses a heating element inside a canister filled with water to create steam, which is distributed to the air within your ductwork. This is ideal for large homes and/or arid climates.
How does a whole house humidifier work to increase comfort?
- Comfort. Maintains even temperatures and moisture levels throughout your entire home all year round – you can set the temperature lower and still feel comfortable.
- Integration. Easy to have installed into your existing HVAC system.
- Reliable and does not require daily
What are the benefits of installing a new furnace in my home?
Superior Energy Efficiency
Furnaces are a highly effective house heating technology. Furnace efficiency is denoted by an AFUE rating – which is an acronym for “Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency.” The higher the AFUE percentage, the more heat the furnace produces for the amount of fuel consumed. A basic natural gas furnace has an AFUE rating of 78-84%, but it can go even higher.

Flexibility
A furnace may run on various fuels, giving you a slew of possibilities. Although many furnace users choose natural gas as a fuel, a furnace can run on numerous fuels such as propane, oil, and electricity. This means they can meet the needs of multiple homes that rely on various fuel sources. Furnaces come in different sizes to accommodate the needs of different people. Whatever your energy needs or the size of your home, you can find what you are looking for.
Reliability
Wisconsin homeowners continue to use furnaces because they are one of the most dependable heating options on the market today. Furnaces produce far more heat than any other heating system and can adequately heat your home even in extreme cold. They are extremely safety-conscious in design and are always developed to fulfill market safety standards. Regular maintenance can help your furnace last for years.
Fast Heating
A furnace is an excellent heating system since it heats your home quickly. They offer quicker start speeds and can immediately bring comfort to your entire home in a matter of minutes.
Affordability
These days, natural gas is used to power the vast majority of heating systems because of how cheaply it can be obtained. Although a furnace system has a larger outlay, you will soon offset that cash because of its long service lifespan and low operating costs over the long term (often between 15 and 20 years). In order to receive your money’s worth from a furnace system, you should invest in regular professional maintenance. Thankfully, our maintenance program at Ideal HVAC is second to none.
How do I know your team can help me?
Before being dispatched to our clients’ homes, our new furnace installation technicians are highly trained and subjected to drug tests and background checks.
Can I finance the work done?
Simple financing with approved credit on competitive terms makes budgeting for a new furnace easier.
Why might I need a new furnace?
The good thing about a new furnace is that it may help you improve your indoor air quality. Because this is a forced air system that makes use of your ductwork, you can incorporate an air purifier, dehumidifier, humidifier, or air filtration system directly into your furnace system. This is an excellent option because it allows you to condition all of the air in your home at once, as opposed to using small, spot conditioning devices such as portable room humidifiers.
Improving the quality of your indoor air should not be an afterthought, as it has an impact on both your own health and the comfort of your home.
Why is a properly installed furnace important?
A properly installed and maintained furnace is critical to your home’s comfort and the lifetime of other costly systems, such as your piping system. Ideal HVAC contractors employ highly trained and skilled tradesmen and tradeswomen who appreciate the importance of a working furnace.
These individuals have received training in the most recent industry technologies and can propose the best furnace to put in your home. They may not only recommend a furnace but have also been professionally trained to install it.
A correctly installed furnace will keep everyone who’s in your home safe and warm.
Uninstalled furnaces can develop a carbon monoxide leak, allowing this odorless and tasteless dangerous gas into your living rooms and potentially jeopardizing the lives of all building residents.
What does the maintenance look like on a furnace?
When you make a large purchase, such as a furnace, it is imperative that you pay attention to the equipment and ensure it receives regular maintenance.
We recommend that all furnaces, regardless of age, have preventative maintenance performed each year before the cold winter arrives. A competent Ideal HVAC-associated contractor can inspect your furnace for dust accumulation, ignition problems, blocked filters, electrical problems, and other issues that could cause your furnace to stop working when you need it the most.
An annual inspection will ensure that your furnace is operating efficiently, that all carbon monoxide is correctly vented to the outside, and that there are no leaks. Annual maintenance is a small price to pay when compared to the cost of repairing or replacing a neglected furnace, as well as the cost of a hospital bill or death from carbon monoxide poisoning.
